Twins Fall To Guardians In 11th

(Minneapolis, MN) — The Minnesota Twins gave up a go-ahead run in the top of the 11th in a 6-5 loss to the Guardians at Target Field. After Luis Arraez put Minnesota up by two with a three-run shot in the bottom of the seventh, Emilio Pagan surrendered a game-tying home run in the top of the eighth to send the game to extras. Griffin Jax was tagged with the loss out of the bullpen as the Twins fall to 38-and-31. They’re now tied for first place in the AL Central with Cleveland. Sonny Gray starts for Minnesota when they take on the Guardians again tonight.
