ND Senator Injures Hand; Possibility Of Infection Or Amputation

(Bismarck, ND) — A sitting U.S. Senator says he may need to have a partial finger amputation after injuring it while doing yard work. North Dakota Republican Kevin Cramer released a statement that said the risk for infection in his pinky finger is also “high.” He said he went into surgery after suffering the injury, and he is recuperating at home in North Dakota. Cramer said he plans to get back to Washington, D.C. after the July 4th recess.
