(Minot, ND) — A woman accused of killing a Minot man has pleaded not guilty. Twenty-four-year-old Heather Hoffman waived her preliminary hearing yesterday. Hoffman is facing felony murder charges in the shooting of 22-year-old Alexander Eckert back in April. She remains in custody on a 500-thousand-dollar bond. She will be back in court in late August where she could face life in prison without parole if convicted.
