(Bismarck, ND) — North Dakota’s congressional delegation and the attorney general are happy with the U.S. Supreme Court’s ruling that curbs the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency’s power. The court ruled yesterday that Congress hadn’t given the EPA the power to regulate carbon emissions coming from power plants. Senator Kevin Kramer says the ruling is a “win for democracy, cooperative federalism, the American people, and North Dakota. Senator John Hoeven says the decision pushes back against “burdensome rules” imposed by the Biden administration. and Congressman Kelly Armstrong released a similar statement, while North Dakota Attorney General Drew Wrigley called the ruling a “landmark U.S. Supreme Court victory.”
