(Pierre, SD) — The public hearings on January 6th are a “one-sided conversation.” That’s according to Governor Kristi Noem [[ nome ]]. Appearing on CNN’s State of the Union, the South Dakota Republican said witnesses were often expressing “hearsay” and that it was “difficult” to believe the claims of those like former Mark Meadows aide Cassidy Hutchinson. Her unexpected testimony of former President Trump’s behavior on January 6th characterized him as physically violent when his demands to be taken to the Capitol were denied. Noem said Hutchinson’s credibility was “damaged” although she delivered her testimony under oath.
