Twins Go Quiet Against Orioles

(Minneapolis, MN) — The Minnesota Twins were unable to complete the three-game sweep of the Orioles after losing the final game of the series 3-1 at Target Field. Jorge Polanco drove in Minnesota’s only run as the Twins managed just four hits in the ballgame. Devin Smeltzer allowed three runs in six innings and was tagged with his second loss of the season. The Twins fall to 45-and-37, but they still lead the AL Central by two games over the Cleveland Guardians. Dylan Bundy takes the mound for Minnesota as they begin a pivotal series against the third-place White Sox tonight.
