(Medora, ND) — The Theodore Roosevelt Medora Foundation is donating land to the planned presidential library to honor the 26th president. The Foundation has also signed an agreement with the library’s foundation for an access easement for the library’s use on Chateau Road. The three-and-a-half acres will be used for shared parking, walking and hiking paths, and a redesigned passage to the library and Burning Hill Amphitheatre. The amphitheater is home to the Medora Musical. Roosevelt ranched and hunted in the area in the 1880s.
