(Pierre, SD) — Governor Kristi Noem says she wants to see political conversation to shift toward establishing better paid family leave policies. A trigger law went into effect that bans abortion following the U.S. Supreme Court’s decision to overturn Roe v. Wade. South Dakota currently doesn’t provide paid family leave.
