Twins Blow Five Leads In Loss

(Chicago, IL) — The Twins were unable to hold onto any of their five leads during a 9-8 ten-inning loss to the Chicago White Sox at Guaranteed Rate Field. Griffin Jax and Trevor Megill each blew saves, while Jovan Moran was charged with his first loss in relief after giving up a walk-off single to Leury Garcia. Jorge Polanco had two home runs in the losing effort, while Gio Urshela also went deep. The Twins still lead the AL Central by four-and-a-half games with a 47-and-38 record. The Twins take on the Rangers in Texas tomorrow.
