Annual County Fest Raises Money For Agricultural Programs, Veterans

(Bismarck, ND) — The fifth annual Country Fest has provided a much-needed boost to nonprofits in the area. While the event ended on Saturday, founder Luke Schafer says last Wednesday’s Give Back Day raised nearly eight thousand dollars for 4-H and the National F-F-A Organization which promotes agricultural education to middle and high schoolers. The festival also raised money for Base Camp 40, a charity for military veterans. Over the last five years, Country Fest has raised just shy of 400 thousand dollars for community organizations.
