Small Plane Makes Emergency Landing Near Rapid City Regional Airport

(Rapid City, SD) — A pilot of a single-engine plane is lucky to have escaped an emergency landing in Rapid City Saturday night. Just about 6 p.m., the pilot went down near Radar Hill Road, in a field just east of the Rapid City Regional Airport. It’s unclear what caused the malfunction in the plane. The pilot was the only one on board and was uninjured.
