(Arlington, TX) — The Minnesota Twins avoided a sweep by beating the Texas Rangers 6-5 at Globe Life Field. Ryan Jeffers hit a go-ahead home run in the top of the sixth that put the Twins up for good. Byron Buxton also went deep in the victory, and Dylan Bundy earned his fifth win after allowing four runs in five innings. Tyler Duffey earned his second save as the 48-and-40 Twins increase their AL Central lead to four-and-a-half games over the Guardians. The Twins return to action tomorrow night against the Brewers.
