Montana-Dakota Utilities Receive Emergency Response Award

(Bismarck, ND) — The blizzards back in April have resulted in an award for Montana-Dakota Utilities. The National Utility Association presented them with the Edison Electric Institute’s Emergency Response Award last month for their storm recovery and assistance efforts after more than 18,000 customers lost power. With the help of over 100 linemen, including students from Bismarck State College, M-D-U was able to restore power ahead of schedule by having all customers back online within two weeks.
