Morton County Sheriff’s Office Welcomes New Therapy Dog

(Mandan, ND) — The Morton County Sheriff’s Office has a new recruit! The agency debuted its new therapy K-9 yesterday. Named Major “Teddy” Hugz, the nine-week-old male Goldendoodle was donated by Montana Goldendoodles and Labradoodles in Great Falls. Major was offered to the department after scoring high on touch tolerance, motivation, and confidence. The dog will ultimately be used to assist students who suffer from anxiety or trauma, though he will also be on-site for partner agencies following traumatic events for victims and first responders.
