(Bismarck, ND) — Recreational marijuana may once again appear on the ballot. Organizers for the group New Approach North Dakota say they have submitted a petition to the Secretary of State’s office yesterday with over 25 thousand signatures. The minimum number needed was 15 thousand, leading the group to say that residents’ opinions have changed about the use of recreational marijuana. The Secretary of State’s office has until August 15th to verify the signatures and determine if the measure will appear on the ballot.
