(Bismarck, ND) — The City of Bismarck has released the first draft of the city’s 2045 Comprehensive Plan. The Community Development Department is calling it “Together 2045,” and it’s divided into five sections: shape, inhabit, thrive, growth, and connection. The plan is aimed at anticipating changes to the economy, technology, the environment, and society. Bismarck is expected to add another 25 thousand residents in the next 25 years. The draft also lays out new compact neighborhoods, additional downtown accessibility, and more access to the Missouri River.
