Hazen Woman Dead Following Early Morning Hit-And-Run

(Bismarck, ND) — A Hazen woman is dead following an early morning hit-and-run on I-94. Officials say the 42-year-old woman was in the passenger seat of a Dodge Ram when a 26-year-old Jamestown man rear-ended the truck, causing it to enter the median and roll over around 4:10 a.m. yesterday. The vehicle was being driven by a 46-year-old Hazen woman with a 14-year-old girl in the back seat. The 14-year-old was not wearing her seatbelt and was ejected. Both female victims were taken to the hospital for their injuries. North Dakota Highway Patrol located and arrested the Jamestown man hours later. He was not injured in the crash.
