(St. Paul, MN) — The Minnesota Wild are parting ways with their All-Star goaltender. The team sent Cam Talbot to Ottawa in a trade that brings former Senators goaltender Filip Gustavsson to St. Paul. Talbot appeared in the NHL All-Star Game last season and went 32-12-and-4 for Minnesota in the regular season. However, Talbot’s agent was unhappy when the Wild re-signed Marc-Andre Fleury last week with the intention of the two players splitting time in goal. Instead, Gustavsson will serve as Fleury’s back-up.
