Miranda Leads Twins Past Brewers

(Minneapolis, MN) — Jose Miranda smashed a three-run walk-off home run in the bottom of the ninth as the Twins beat the Brewers 4-1 at Target Field. The rookie hit the home run against Milwaukee’s superstar closer Josh Hader. Jhoan Duran picked up the first win of his MLB career in relief. The Twins have won two of their last three games to improve to 49-and-41. They hold a four-and-a-half game lead over the Cleveland Guardians for first place in the AL Central. The Twins send Sonny Gray to the mound as they begin a pivotal four-game series against the White Sox tonight.
