Project CAR Working To Get Those Who Need Rides From A To B

(Sioux Falls, SD) — A local non-profit is doing its part to help disabled residents get to where they need to go with free rides. In the past seven months, Sioux Area Metro has scaled back its route schedule on account of driver shortages. With that, Project CAR is ramping up efforts to offer seniors, people with disabilities who cannot drive, and others who have trouble transporting themselves. The local service started back in 1980, offering rides to churches and stores for senior citizens.
