(Madison, SD) — The Lake County Sheriff’s Office is providing more information regarding a two-county, wrong-way police chase Thursday. According to the sheriff’s office, the pursuit started in Minnehaha County and then went into Moody County along Highway 34, onto gravel roads, back onto the highway, and eventually ended in Madison. There, two suspects who shot at police at least a dozen times were taken into custody near First Street and Ramm Heights. No officers appear to have been injured in the shooting or chase.
