(Undated) — Byron Buxton will become the first Twins player to start in an All-Star Game since 2019. The MLB announced that Buxton will start for fan-voted starter Mike Trout, who is missing the game with a back injury. Buxton was originally announced to the team as a reserve last week. He’s hitting .216 with 23 home runs and 43 RBI this season. The All-Star Game is in Los Angeles tomorrow night.
