(Pierre, SD) — Governor Kristi Noem says she won’t be calling a special session to address the abortion debate. Noem released the statement Friday, saying South Dakota is the country’s most pro-life state. Noem’s statement was signed by Republican state Senators Lee Schoenbeck, Jessica Castleberry, and Erin Tobin, and Representatives Jon Hansen, Taylor Rehfeldt, and Rebecca Reimer. South Dakota Right to Life executive director Dale Barscher and Concerned Women for America of South Dakota legislative liaison Leis Gennaro also signed the statement.
