(St. Paul, MN) — The Minnesota Wild are bringing back some of their role players. The team re-signed forwards Mitchell Chaffee and Nick Swaney to one-year, two-way contracts yesterday. Chaffee played in two games last season without registering a goal or an assist, while Swaney did not appear in any NHL games last season. Minnesota also signed this year’s 19th overall draft pick Liam Ohgren to a three-year, entry-level contract yesterday.
