Twins in All-Star Game

(Minneapolis, MN) — The Minnesota Twins have entered the Major League Baseball All-Star Break leading the American League Central Division by two games over the Cleveland Guardians and by three games over the Chicago White Sox. Minnesota lost three of four games to Chicago over the weekend to dip to 50-44 on the season. The Twins will open the second half of the season on Saturday in Detroit, taking on the Tigers. Meanwhile, two Twins players are in Los Angeles to take part in tonight’s Major League Baseball All-Star Game at Dodger Stadium. Centerfielder Byron Buxton will start the game in centerfield and will bat sixth in the lineup. Infielder Luis Arraez will be an American League reserve. The All-Star Game starts at 7 P-M.
