MDU Gets Approval For Interim Electric Rate Increase

(Bismarck, ND) — Montana-Dakota Utilities is getting the go-ahead for an interim electric rate increase. North Dakota regulators approved the increase, which will increase customers’ bills immediately. MDU is considering a larger, permanent jump. If the Public Service Commission’s final ruling on the increase is less than the interim rate, customers will be reimbursed the difference.
