(Eagan, MN) — The Vikings are opening up a roster spot before training camp begins next week. The team cut quarterback Nate Stanley yesterday. Stanley was Minnesota’s seventh-round pick out of Iowa in 2020, but he was slated in as the Purple’s fourth-string quarterback. He spent 2020 on the team’s practice squad and was on injured reserve all of last season. The Vikings can add one more player to their 90-man roster before training camp.
