Johnson Votes Against Respect For Marriage Act

(Pierre, SD) — Congressman Dusty Johnson is one of many House Republicans to vote against the Respect for Marriage Act. Johnson says concerns about changes to gay marriage and contraception access “aren’t going anywhere.” Johnson says he finds the Democrat-back bills play politics and attempt to overreach Congress’s powers. The act passed yesterday with bipartisan support.
