Wrigley Dismisses Idea For Investigation Into Deleted Stenehjem Emails

(Bismarck, ND) — Republican North Dakota Attorney General Drew Wrigley is dismissing a call for an independent investigation into the deletion of late AG Wayne Stenehjem’s email account. Wrigley says his office has found no criminal wrongdoing in the matter, which he considers closed. A recent email from Stenehjem’s administrative assistant Liz Brocker revealed that she directed the account to be closed in an effort to avoid open records requests for the emails. Brocker says the move was approved by Deputy Attorney General Troy Seibel.
