Bitzero Redeveloping North Dakota Missile Site For Data Center

(Bismarck, ND) — Governor Doug Burgum says a crypto mining company is planning to redevelop an abandoned North Dakota missile site into a data center. Bitzero Blockchain announced last month that it will be making North Dakota its headquarters for North American operations. The Nekoma site was built as a reaction to a 1972 treaty between the United States and the Soviet Union. The company says it intends to build 200 megawatts of data centers in the state.
