(Rapid City, SD) — Rapid City Area Schools are bringing back paid lunches. The return comes as USDA funding for no-cost lunches is ending. The district is also raising the price of breakfast by ten cents and lunch by 20 cents for all grade levels to account for the inflated costs of different goods. Free and reduced lunches will still be provided for students who qualify under previous guidelines.
