(Pierre, SD) — South Dakota’s weekly COVID-19 case numbers are inching upward. The state Department of Health reported nearly 44-hundred cases last week, up over 200 from the previous week. Health officials say all but ten counties in the state are considered as having high community spread. Just over 80 people were hospitalized with COVID-19 related illnesses last week and nine people died.
