(Eagan, MN) — Jared Allen is going to be honored for his illustrious career with the Vikings. The team announced on Friday that the former defensive end will be inducted into the Vikings Ring Of Honor on October 30th. Jared Allen spent six seasons with Minnesota, and he set the single-season franchise record for sacks when he got to the quarterback 22 times in 2011. Allen had 85-and-a-half sacks during his tenure in Minnesota and added four interceptions and two defensive touchdowns. The Vikings continue training camp today.
