Urshela Leads Twins Over Tigers

(Minneapolis, MN) — Gio Urshela provided the heroics in the Twin’s 5-3, ten-inning win over the Detroit Tigers at Target Field. Urshela hit a two-run walk-off home run in the bottom of the tenth to lead Minnesota to victory. Jose Miranda had a game-tying single in the eighth and the tenth in the victory, and Griffin Jax earned his fifth win out of the bullpen. Aaron Sanchez got a no-decision in his Twins debut after striking out eight in five innings of two-run ball. The 54-and-48 Twins lead the AL Central by one game over the Guardians. Chris Archer starts for Minnesota against Detroit tonight.
