Twins Blow Lead In Seventh

(Minneapolis, MN) — The Twins bullpen blew another late lead as Minnesota fell to Detroit 5-3 at Target Field. The club entered the seventh with a 3-2 lead before Griffin Jax gave up three runs to put Detroit up for good. Jax was charged with his third loss of the season. Mark Contreras hit his first career home run in the losing effort as the Twins fell to 54-and-49. They’re still clinging onto a one game lead in the AL Central. Minnesota sends Joe Ryan to the mound against the Tigers today.
