(Brookings, SD) — The City of Brookings is naming its new police chief. Officials say Michael Drake will take the position beginning August 22nd. Drake currently lives in New York and has been with the New York State Police for the last 26 years. Drake says he and his family are looking forward to moving to the Bookings community.
