(Anaheim, CA) — The Twins wrapped up a miserable West Coast road trip with a 4-2 loss to the Angels in Anaheim. Minnesota managed just five hits and went oh-for-four with runners in scoring position. Byron Buxton’s two-run home run in the first gave the Twins an early lead, but Chris Archer couldn’t hold it, giving up three runs in four innings to pick up his sixth loss. Minnesota falls to 58-and-55 and trails Cleveland by two-and-a-half games for the AL Central lead. Joe Ryan starts for Minnesota against the Royals tonight.
