(Undated) — A developer is planning to move ahead with a CO2 pipeline despite landowner concerns. A group of landowners met yesterday with representatives from the Dakota Resource Council environmental group to discuss Summit’s proposed pipeline. Summit Carbon Solutions says it hopes to reach agreements with landowners on easements before considering eminent domain. The pipeline would pick up carbon dioxide from over 30 ethanol plants before injecting and storing it underground. The pipeline would cross two thousand miles through five states, ending northwest of Bismarck in Oliver and Mercer counties.
