(Brown County, SD) — Congressman Dusty Johnson is warning that allocations in the Farm Bill could leave less for conservation. Johnson spoke about the process of drafting the current measure Friday at the Brown County Fair. He says more money is needed for the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program because of higher food costs, which may mean cuts in conservation money. The talk was hosted by the South Dakota Farm Bureau.
