Twins Go Quiet Against Rangers

(Minneapolis, MN) — The Twins managed just four hits in a 7-0 loss to the Texas Rangers at Target Field. Joe Ryan gave up just two runs in six-and-a-third innings but was tagged with his sixth loss of the season, and Jorge Polanco had a pair of hits in the losing effort. The Twins fall to 62-and-57 and sit a game-and-a-half back of Cleveland for first place in the AL Central. Sonny Gray starts for the Twins against the Rangers tonight. In other team news, the Twins inducted former manager Ron Gardenhire, utility player Cesar Tovar, and outfielder Dan Gladden into their team Hall of Fame over the weekend.
