Central States Fair Hits Record Sales Over First Weekend

(Rapid City, SD) — Officials with the Central States Fair say the event hit a record number of sales over its opening weekend. Organizers say Grandstand and Premier passes are up by 75 percent and VIP pass sales jumped nearly 30 percent. The fair’s marketing and vendor manager says attendance was up by about seven percent for the event’s first three days. The fair remains open through Sunday.
