Grand Forks Airport Closed To Commercial Flights Temporarily

(Grand Forks, ND) — The Grand Forks International Airport is temporarily closed to commercial flights. Crews are working 24-hour shifts to complete repairs on the runway intersection. Airport officials say the reconstruction of the intersection is necessary, but it does leave enough available runway to bring in larger aircraft. The work is set to be completed by the end of next week, when commercial traffic will resume.
