Big Fifth Inning Leads Twins Past Giants

(Minneapolis, MN) — The Minnesota Twins scored five runs in the bottom of the fifth inning to beat the San Francisco Giants 8-3 at Target Field. Jake Cave went two-for-four with a double, a home run, and four RBI. Devin Smeltzer earned his fifth win out of the bullpen. The Twins are now just two games back of Cleveland for first place in the AL Central at 65-and-61. Dylan Bundy starts for Minnesota against the Red Sox tonight.
