(Beulah, ND) — A former bank president is pleading guilty to defrauding banks. Brady Torgerson entered into a plea agreement with prosecutors in June and entered formal pleas to two counts of bank fraud at a hearing yesterday. Charges of misapplication of funds, making false entries in bank records, and aggravated identity theft were dismissed as part of the agreement. His father Brent Torgerson and Kelly Huffman are scheduled for change-of-plea hearings in the coming months. They are accused of misapplication of bank funds.
