O’Gorman Catholic Schools Reaching Out To Parents Over Student’s Haircut Issue

(Sioux Falls, SD) — Administrators at Bishop O’Gorman Catholic Schools are reaching out to the parents of a student with a dress code issue. Officials tell KELO-TV they are interested in continuing a conversation with the parents of Braxton Schaefer, who has been asked to cut his hair. The 14-year-old’s parents announced Monday that he will be leaving the school at the semester rather than cut his hair to meet dress code requirements. The dress code for boys at the school requires them to “keep hair length above the eyes and not touching the collar.”
