(Minneapolis, MN) — The Minnesota Twins gave up five runs in the top of the third inning during a 6-5 loss to the Boston Red Sox at Target Field. The Twins got the tying run in scoring position in the bottom of the ninth, but Carlos Correa hit into a game-ending double-play. Luis Arraez hit a home run in the losing effort, and Joe Ryan was charged with his seventh loss after surrendering five runs in five innings. The Twins remain a game-and-a-half behind Cleveland in the AL Central race with a 67-and-62 record. Minnesota is back in action against the White Sox tomorrow night.
