Sioux Falls Council Considering Three-Percent Property Tax Hike

(Sioux Falls, SD) — The Sioux Falls City Council is considering a three-percent property tax hike. The council move forward with an ordinance last night that would implement the increase. The funds would be used to help fund Mayor Paul TenHaken’s 2023 budget proposal. If it is approved, it would be the highest tax increase during TenHaken’s time as mayor.
