Burgum Rolls Out Childcare Fix

(Bismarck, ND) — Governor Doug Burgum is rolling out a proposal he says would address childcare issues in North Dakota. Burgum’s plan will focus on making childcare more available and more affordable. The governor says his proposal would also improve the quality of childcare in the state. His plan is estimated to cost between 70 and 80 million dollars from 2023 to 2025. Burgum describes the program as a vital investment in the state’s young people that will create long-term economic growth.
