(Mandan, ND) — The second of two Mandan brothers accused of threatening two people with a hammer and machete will be on probation. Court records show 18-year-old Kaiden Schmidt pled guilty on Friday to two felony counts of terrorizing from the May incident. An alcohol related charge was dismissed. Schmidt received a suspended one-year jail term and two years of probation. His brother Ethan Schmidt pled guilty to two counts of terrorizing earlier this month and received two years probation.
