University Of Mary Dedicated Engineering Facility

(Bismarck, ND) — The University of Mary is dedicating its recently expanded engineering school. Officials dedicated the Hamm School of Engineering yesterday. The school is named for Harold Hamm, chairman and founder of Continental Resources who pioneered the development of the Bakken oil fields in western North Dakota. The Harold Hamm Foundation announced a ten-million dollar gift to the school in February. Continental Resources has designated another two million dollars to endow the Continental Resources/Monsignor James She Chair of Engineering. Shea is the president of the university.
